Following the success of the first three editions, Investopia 2026, one of the leading international forums for dialogue between investors, institutions, and businesses, was held on May 15th at Palazzo Mezzanotte in Milan. Established in the United Arab Emirates with the aim of connecting the global investment community to new growth opportunities, the event has returned to Italy thanks to a collaboration between the UAE Ministry of Economy and Finance and EFG Consulting, a firm specializing in internationalization consulting and strategies with a focus on the Gulf countries.

The event, which this year also saw Urban Up | Unipol among its partners, was attended by leading figures from the Emirati and Italian government including: Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy of the United Arab Emirates, Mohammad Alhawi, Undersecretary of Ministry of Investment of United Arab Emirates, Adolfo Urso, Minister of Business and Made in Italy, Gianmarco Mazzi, Minister of Tourism, Giancarlo Giorgetti Minister of Economy and Finance and Ignazio La Russa President of the Senate.

Massimiliano Morrone, Chief Real Estate Officer di Unipol Assicurazioni - spoke on the panel: “Building Value: Capital, Identity and the Future of Real Estate”. From large-scale urban developments to mixed-use destinations, the most successful projects are those that integrate design, experience, and capital into a coherent vision. Bringing together leading investors and developers from Italy and the UAE, this session explores how capital is being deployed, how partnerships across developers, investors, hospitality operators, and global brands are reshaping the sector, and what it takes to create globally competitive urban destinations. Also speaking were Alberto Agazzi Head of International Generali Real Estate, Davide Albertini Petroni, Chairman Confindustria Assoimmobiliare, Stefano Dedola, Special Advisor to the Chairman & ED of Global Project.
