Urban Up partner of Milano – Sanremo Cup

From 6th to 8th May 2021 the XII Historical Re-enactment of the Milano- Sanremo Cup was held, the most charming and ancient race in Italy. The so-called "Lady" of races is one of the historical events of Automobile Club Milano, which organized it for the first time in April 1906. 115 years later the race also counts Urban Up | Unipol with Gruppo UNA and Marina di Loano as partners.

The event started on Thursday, May 6th with the meeting of the crews at the Monza Circuit, the "Temple of Speed" famous all over the world; in the afternoon the cars moved to Milan for the exclusive opening parade in the heart of the city starting from the headquarters of the Automobile Club Milano, passing through the streets of the fashion district and Porta Nuova, parading in front of De Castillia 23 by Urban Up | Unipol up to the shadow of the Madonnina, ending in front of the famous Castello Sforzesco.The day will end with the official opening inside the garden of Milano Verticale | UNA Esperienze, the new flagship hotel Gruppo UNA, located in the district of Porta Nuova - Garibaldi - Corso Como. On the morning of Friday, May 7th the "racing cars of the past" set out to discover the landscapes with timeless charm, crossing the territories of Lombardy, Piedmont and Liguria. Saturday, May 8th was the decisive day during which the cars had to endure the last special tests and stopped for a light lunch at the prestigious setting of the Yacht Club of Marina di Loano.

The race ended on May 9th with the victory of the n.3 crew of Mario Passanante and Dario Moretti at the wheel of a 1937 Fiat 508 C while the Urban Up | Unipol award for fair play was presented to the couple Didier Brechemier and Stephane Sausier (n.39) on board a 1964 MG B Roadster.
