Urban Up with WIRED NEXT FEST 2016 to celebrate Beauty

For the entire weekend of September 17th and 18th Florence became the capital of the "Digital Renaissance" and Palazzo Vecchio became the place to celebrate Beauty, the Festival's theme. There were more than 100 guests and speakers, including astronaut Luca Parmitano; Massimo Bottura, the best chef in the world of 2016; Alice Rawsthorn, designer, writer and editor of the New York Times; Joe Bastianich, star of food and a television icon; the photographer Oliviero Toscani; Antonio Campo Dall'Orto, general director of Rai; the actor Pierfrancesco Favino; the creator of the Emoticons Scott Fahlman. Other participants of the event organized with the support of the Municipality of Florence included Mayor Dario Nardella and the Prime Minister Matteo Renzi.

Besides being a partner of the Festival, Urban Up inaugurated the event by hosting the exclusive Opening Party in the elegant Pian dei Giullari villa, bearing witness to the importance of innovation in the Unipol Group's prestigious real estate initiatives. The exceptional entertainment for the evening was provided by The Bumbys, the internationally renowned duo of performers from Brooklyn whose true identities are still unknown.
The Party was also an opportunity to present Domux Home, a brand of the Unipol Group, which includes in its portfolio apartments for temporary lease that are an example of the perfect synthesis between technology and design. The Domux Home apartments are located in very central, prestigious properties in Florence and Milan, both WIRED NEXT FEST cities.
