Urban Up launches the exposition TOWER TALES. DESIGN, ART & SOUND IN TORRE VELASCA

Bill Frisell’s exclusive jazz concert that took place on the 7th November 2018 inaugurated the festival TOWER TALES. DESIGN ART & SOUND IN TORRE VELASCA, born with the aim to “tell” the most original declinations of culture in the unique frame of the Tower property of the Unipol Group: a program of exclusive meetings with the most innovative jazz music (#SoundTales), the vanguard expressions of contemporary art (#ArtTales) and projects from the young talents of the most important design schools in Milan (#DesignTales). World-famous guitarist Bill Frisell was the first of 4 exclusive appointments with jazz music, held together with BLUE NOTE OFF, the new brand that distinguishes the Blue Note musical initiatives “out of the Blue Note”. A new cultural contamination is then created, which enrichens the musical experience and makes it accessible outside the historical club in Via Borsieri as well, in unusual and fascinating locations. Bill Frisell moved up the first Italian date of his tour in the JAZZMI context, with an exhibition in the Velasca Tower in a touching solo performance. The next meetings to take place in 2019 will feature Sarah Jane Morris, Andrea Motis and Roger Rota.
