Remember the future?

Dario Moschetta – Temporary Exhibition

Milan, March 01, 2016 EVENT

Thanks to the Unipol Group the Velasca Tower has become an innovative venue for cultural initiatives, hosting the works of artists, both established and new, that offer new and original perspectives on the Tower which has been an unmistakable feature of the Milanese skyline over the last 50 years. To continue with its reinterpretation the La Velasca in Velasca: exhibition was born: in different instances, in fact, the Velasca Tower may be seen as a collective icon or a fragment of one’s own personal life, or even as a symbolic place that encloses the past, present and future.

And the future is the temporal dimension that is evoked by the temporary exhibition housed in the Space Museum of the Velasca Tower, from the 1st to 11th March 2016. Remember the future? presents six works from the Cityscapes series by Dario Moschetta, an experimental artist who likes to mix elements of photography and painting to realize his urban visions, capable of capturing the soul of an entire metropolis starting out with essential details. The light, the perspective lines of the buildings, the curve of a road, a lengthy working process brings out on canvas the details of everyday life, treating visitors to an innovative series of cityscapes.
