GalFa Tower: a ray of light in the night


The tests for night-time lighting of the Tower have begun : high scenographic impact and low energy impact thanks to the solutions that helped achieve Class A certification

The modernisation of the GalFa Tower is almost complete: the project design by BG&K is based on the analysis of the tower’s existing limits for its modernisation and renewal, ensuring maximum energy efficiency and environmental sustainability through functional and technological upgrades along with substantial plant engineering.

The first 12 floors will host INNSIDE Milan Torre GalFa, a 4-star, 145 room hotel in the Melià chain; the 13th to 28th floors will be temporary rental accommodations (Halldis and Domux Home); at the very tip of the Tower there will be a roof-top restaurant with its own elevator, and the basement will have a fitness centre.

The area outside the ground floor has been designed as a transit area and meeting place for the neighbourhood: a crystal cube will allow “barrier-free” access to the gym while the area behind it will have an underground space with access to the residences.
